Got to Midland Cycle and enquired about new tube, taking the front wheel into the store with me. The lady said it was $9.95 for tube but recommended a full bike service (which included an oil, tightening of screws, gear check etc). She said the service was $69 and the tyre was included in the service. So went and got the rest of the bike out of my car (I had to take front wheel off to fit into my car) which I was happy to do and the lady helped me which was really nice of her.

Got a second hand bike and went straight from picking it up to the bike shop as the owner before me said that it needed a new tube in the front tyre.

Considering that my initial visit was to have the tube replaced (which I could of got for $9.95 and had my boyfriend put it on the bike that day!) and I was told that $69 included it all I am super pissed off that I was told upon returning to the store that I had to pay an extra $9.95.

    BIGGEST RIP OFF!

So if the $69 service doesn't include the tubes it would of been nice to be told this in the first place. And additionally, this would mean that they have customers paying $69 to put a bit of oil on the chain and tighten some screws.

Could not fault these guys, especially Dylan, I gave him a small challenge. I purchased a bike from somewhere else and had trouble with it from day one. I brought it to Midland Cycles and got nothing but top quality customer service. I can now do my 200km ride knowing that my bike is now working the way it should have from the start. Great customer service, great advice thank you and great support. Highly recommend these guys. Thank you again.

Had an issue with my wheel and took it in to the guys at Midland Cycles last week. I couldn't be happier with the repairs - they did a fantastic job, for an excellent price & the customer service was great as well! Will definitely be going back for all of my cycling needs.

Then, as I was leaving the store, it was suggested that the reason why the tyre went flat was because I had taken it off the bike or something! So essentially, they tried to say that it was my fault.

Called the store and was told to return front tyre to fix issue (inconvenient and annoying as they already had the bike for a week but gotta do what ya gotta do)

Picked up bike 1 week later, got it home and found that the front tyre was still flat.

One of the best and most helpful bike shops around. Highly recommended.

The reason why I visited in the first place was for the tyre tube, but they were more interested in up-selling me a $69 service which didn't even include what I actually needed!!!!!

Went into store two days later and tyre tube was changed on spot (took 10 minutes). Was charged $9.95 to fix problem.

Felt like I was being mocked by first the lady at the counter and then the tail guy because I wanted to look a a road bike for triathlons, the guy said I would be better off start out with a mountain bike and then started showing me different mountain bikes???
