  I've been going to ace midland for a number of years now. Never had a problem here. Tickets and snacks are reasonably priced. Parking is nice and easy. The cinema was recently refurbished with a new Gold lounge which is fantastic and the new amax cinema is really good too.

  We went to the Gold Lounge at Ace cinema in Midland. While it was busy, they didn't have enough staff to manage customers. My pizza when it arrived was barely warm. But it was fine the last time I was there. Seems to be a little bit hit and miss.

  While the gold lounge bar is very nice the staff there leave a lot to be desired. We were the only ones in the bar and waited for staff to come and take our order but they just hang behind bar chatting. It seems to be run by a bunch of amateurs with no idea about giving good service. By the time they served the drinks in second half the movie was almost over. Last time I went to GL I also thought the service lacking. They really need to up their game.

  Could've been cheaper. The seats are comfy and the sound is great.
